Martin Luther understood “the just shall live by faith” as a soteriological (salvation) term, and he viewed justification as the crediting of Christ’s righteousness in a positional sense to those who believe. This has become the traditional view of evangelical Christianity. Pastor Hollandsworth demonstrates from all the passages where this phrase is used, that justification is conditional, God’s declaration upon those believers who are LIVING righteously.
